The Swan is a delightful traditional pub just minutes from the seafront and conveniently located on York Street, Sidmouth in a quiet residential area close to (but away from the hustle and bustle) of the High Street.
The Swan is relaxed and friendly and a warm welcome awaits you no matter what the time of the year. During the summer months the tempo definitely rises and reaches a crescendo at the end of July for the world famous Sidmouth Folk Festival which brings large numbers of performers and visitors to the town.
Traditional quality pub food, with an ever changing menu and seasonal fare, is served every lunchtime (midday to 2pm) and evening from 6pm to 9pm, and Sunday 7pm to 9pm). It can be enjoyed in the bar or in the beer garden with it award winning floral displays which are in bloom as long as the weather permits.
The Swan is open seven days a week (but closed for a couple of hours each afternoon). Traditional pub entertainment and activities are run at the Swan, and piano is available if you want to impress with a few tunes. Why not pop in to see for yourself? You won't be disappointed. |
